Student Travel Awards
The International Society of Fish and Shellfish Immunology (ISFSI) will support student travel awards. Students who would like to apply need to follow the regulations of ISFSI.
Please make sure to apply before June 1st, 2025. Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program and doctor program, completed conference registration, and be the presenter of an oral presentation at the 5th ISFSI. The application will be reviewed and appropriate candidates are chosen for student award. Successful applicants will be notified by August 1st 2025.
After completing conference registration and fee payment, applicants are required to log into their 5th ISFSI account to fill in additional information, which will appear automatically.
Requirements:
- Complete online travel award application form
- Student enrollment certificate from university
- Recommendation letter from Supervisor
- Research report no more than 4 pages
Note: Student Travel Awards application will open on Feb 3rd 2025.

Student Presentation Awards
- The goal of the 5th ISFSI oral and poster presentation competition is to encourage students to participate in research, present their research progress, and promote and acknowledge individual achievement.
- To qualify as a competitor, the presenting author should be a student (Master / Doctoral), and register to enter competition during online 5th ISFSI conference registration.
- The list of Oral and Poster Presentation award winners will be announced prior to the closing ceremony of 5th ISFSI conference.
Student Oral Presentation Competition Guidelines
Note: Only students can participate in the competition.
- A review committee will be formed to select participants for awards.
- The selection criteria include 40% for content, 30% for presentation, and 20% for Q&A performance, and 10% for time control.
- Each Oral Presentation award winner will receive a gift and a certificate.
Student Poster Competition Guidelines
Note: Only students can participate in the competition.
- A review committee will be formed to select participants for awards.
- The selection criteria include 20% for layout design, 30% for academic value, and 50% on-site presentation.
- Each Poster Presentation award winner will receive a gift and a certificate
- Best Poster Awards will be sponsored by Fish and Shellfish Immunology

Flash Talk Competition
- A review committee will be formed to select participants for awards.
- The selection criteria will include your performance in Poster presentation (20%) plus 70% for presentation, and 10% for time control.
- Each Flash Talk award winner will receive a gift and a certificate.
